if video is integerated how to upgrade

Specs: Windows XP
i have an AOpen AMD athlon 2.4ghz (AK79G 1394)with integrated graphics/video which is nvidia nforce2 G/GT. Can i upgrade in any way for example by adding additional video card or not?? Please help?

Most on-board video can be disabled in favour of add-on video cards.
Check your BIOS there may be direct controls in there to do so.

The other way is to add the video card and disable the on-board video in device manager.

It is possible that others in this forum may offer other possible solutions to these two.

if this is your board, it looks like you have a agp slot


here are some agp cards

most would advise against spending alot on an old system.
also some of the higher end cards require power. You need to consider you power supply.
What is your goal here??
