|Nd remember that a factory reset will wrase "all" your pesronal files too( photos, music, documents included). So - if possible - save anything you wouldn't like to lose. Typically copy them to dvd; and/or to an external had drive too if you have one.|
Check the copies are OK - can be read/accessed on at least one system, if not two.
If you can't access file etc. at present because of major problems (system won't work well enough for that) then post back. There are simple ways to recover them - before any reset routines are done.
Then proceed with the reset routine?
But why the need to reset?
