|If there is no option for increasing shared video memory in the BIOS settings then it cannot be increased. This is normal for most laptops since the manufacturer uses a very basic BIOS with only minimum user-adjustable settings so you can't screw anything up.|
My laptop is the same, video memory cannot be increased.
That's why I also bought a custom-built desktop computer in which the graphics card has it's own dedicated memory (2GB) and can be upgraded if necessary.
