after changing file properties you may need to reboot for the changes to take effect.

Search for your batch file by name.

If you created the batch file why can't you create another one?

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

What is "cdm".

You should be able to use the normal search if you know the name of the file:
Start button > Search.

You could also temporarily show hidden protected files.

You could also use a Linux Live CD which will allow you to look at HD files without Windows preventing you.

Another possibility is System Restore.

As this is not a normal Windows file but one you made yourself it is difficult for us to give more than general information about where to find it.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Doing a Windows search for all files with the bat file extension after showing all hidden files should produce a list. Try entering *.bat for your search term.
