We're going to need a little more info than that. What's the make/model of your router? Are you using wireless-G or N? Where is your router located in relation to where you need the signal - 1st floor, 2nd floor, distance? Can it be relocated or can a 2nd wireless router be added to increase the range?

EDIT: I believe using a 2nd router as a repeater as suggested above will cut the bandwidth in half. See my post from a few weeks ago:

If you read the comments in the link given at #1 they are mainly negative.

Consider a "Powerline" (or Home plug) adapter, which gives a cable connect using the domestic electricity supply. There are limitations because it depends a lot on the electrical arrangements between the two locations.
