I'm going to be buying a ryzen 1700x with a MSI X370 GAMING PRO CARBON motherboard. I'm very confused on what ram to get. I want to know if this will be compatible with it: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod... on my motherboard website about compatibility it says the yellow one is compatible but the black one isn't listed. Also, on the title of the ram it says Intel chipset would this work on my motherboard?

The 1st RAM link is for Intel motherboards, it says so right in the description, so I don't know why you would even consider it. Make sure you get RAM compatible with AMD. Also, be sure to manually configure the BIOS settings. Loading the BIOS defaults will hurt overall system performance.
