March 28, 2012 at 03:50:51
Specs: Windows Vista, T2310
The information I got from the scanner of Crucial.com as follow:
-Each memory slot can hold DDR2 PC2-5300 with a maximum of 1GB per slot.*
*Not to exceed manufacturer supported memory. -

It is HARMFULL if I continue to use 1 X 2GB DDR2 PC6400? I Tried 2 x 2GB I got blue screen.

Not to exceed manufacturer supported memory. When they state that, they mean it. If the computer works with the 2 gig chip, then obviously you can use it. But you are at your limit.

Ddr2 800 is capable of running at 400, 533 & 667 mhz. The ram should run at 667 mhz(pc2 5300) or u will loose some perfomance(ratio 1:1)

Sorry, it is ratio 1:2
