Specs: Windows 7
I had Norton internet security that was about to expire I had a new ver. norton 365 ver 5 dvd when I began to load It removed the old version then it no longer read the dvd. I believe Norton removed the driver for dvd reader because if you load on line it is very expensive I am retired and live on limited income. how can I get my dvd back? ANYONE?

System Restore: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/...

Do not install Norton use the FREE Microsoft Security Essentials:

If not system restore...you might try unplugging the computer...open...disconnect
both ribbon and power to dvd. Restart ...bootup...then shut down. Unplug computer, reinstall ribbon and power to dvd....restart.....New hardware found should come up and the driver installed.

thanks all for your response, its people like you that makes my belief that there is good in some & not like those such as Norton and other software companies that care less about their customers. It just seems like the government should step in and question them.
Oh well! for all that was worth Thanks again.
