need added HD to read as 1 drive? What HD is best suited to work w/HD360 already installed, & what cables do i need to marry the new drive w/the existing already installed. My motherboard is a DFI PS 83-BL
You can't "daisy chain" two hard drives to read as one drive. Whatever hard drive you add, it will be a separate hard drive with it's own drive letter (or letters, depending on how many partitions you create on it).
It's not possible to "daisy chain" SATA HDDs & your board doesn't support RAID so unless you install a RAID controller card, all you can do is have a main HDD for the OS & additional HDDs for storage. Your board has 2 IDE & 2 SATA ports so you can have up to 6 HDDs if necessary.
