The BIOS password & Admin password are 2 completely different things. If you're asking about a desktop machine, all you have to do is unplug the power cord, open the case, find the 'clear CMOS' jumper on the motherboard, move the jumper from the normal position to the 'clear' position, then move it back again. Close the case, plug in the power cord, then boot up. Immediately enter the BIOS & reconfigure all the settings.

The method mentioned above will not work with a laptop. To combat the theft of laptops these systems have a much more secure storage for BIOS passwords. Resetting such a password (without knowing the existing password) normally requires manufacturer help, and they will normally only do this for the original owner.
