|So you've got a bad connector on the cable and are going to cut off the same connector from another cable and splice it to the first cable (or something like that)?|
It's going to be kind of tedious but cut off each connector leaving a little bit of cable on both. Strip back some of the insulation on all the wires. Then get an ohmmeter and trace which wire goes to which pin on each connector. So for example you may find the brown wire on one connects to the same pin as the white wire on the other connector. Do that for all the wires on both connectors and you'll be able to match the different colored wires correctly.
Or just buy a new cable.
