The type of ram (ddr3) on the video card doesn't matter. You can use it, but before a suggestion is made, list the specs of your power supply. I'm assuming it's a desktop.

I'm guessing you want it for gaming? The best gaming graphics cards generally have DDR5 memory. And the better the card, the more power it requires, that's why a quality power supply with adequate wattage & amperage is required. This article should help:

And you should get more RAM. 2GB is barely enough these days.
