I get sparklies on the right side of my Samsung monitor

Specs: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, AMD Athlon X2 240
how do I stop sparklies on my screen. I have recently installed an ATI Radeon 5450 graphics card and now if the screen is mainly white, I get bad sparklies on the right-hand side. My monitor is a Samsung BX2335 and it is connected via DVI 1mtr cable.

Could it be that if you use the monitor controls you could move the display a bit to the right or widen the display?

Hi, thanks for your reply, but I have used the AMD monitor controls and they work for a short while, then it reverts back to the sparklies :-(
Would it possibly the DVI cable? I was unsure which type to buy and got one that seemed to fit.

I can't tell what you are seeing. I meant to use the display's controls to adjust the position not the video card controls.

Almost impossible a DV! could do that. Digital almost never fails in a set pattern.
