You probably need to contact Dell about this. Be prepared to supply proof of ownership.

Dell had passwords are easy to get, there is a keygen for them. Check eBay for a dell password removal

Cracking BIOS/ hard drive passwords is illegal and therefore against forum rules. We generally do not provide BIOS password help because we have no way of knowing if the poster is the legal owner or not.

I don't believe that it is a true statement that "Cracking BIOS/ hard drive passwords is illegal" if one is the legal owner of the computer and hard drive. Password has been maliciously set by a user on a lab computer.

For Optiplex 745 WDC WD800JD-75MSA3 Dell tells me they don't have a keygen tool. They did not say anythign about the machine being out of warranty, which it is. They spent some time researching the keygen and initially believed they would resolve it.
