I have had no sound on my PC for several months. When I open up the control panel under sounds and audio devices is says I have no audio device. I got everest and ran it and under multimedia is says
"Intel 82801GB ICH7 - High Definition Audio Controller [A-1]"

I made sure that windows audio was set to automatic.

I looked in device manager and this is what is says under sound, video and game controllers,

You have to install the sound drivers. We can't help you unless you post the make/model of your board or if you have an OEM system (Dell, Gateway, HP/Compaq, etc), post the model of the system...for example, Dell Dimension 4600. What you posted is the model of the southbridge chipset.
