I can not enter in to CMOS setup.

I have got the3 same problem, that means when I try to enter in to CMOS setup it asks me password. Since the h/w is old (Dell) version, in between of this many staffs used by this Computer. So I can not get true information. What I do then?

Are you asking about a work computer? Why do you need to access the BIOS? The password was most likely put in place by the IT Dept to prevent tampering.

Unplug the power cord, open the case, then either remove the CMOS battery for a few seconds or use the ClearCMOS jumper to reset the BIOS & remove the password. The BIOS settings will then have to be corrected.

There isn't another user by the name Getachew1, so I am assuming that is your handle, and that you are trying to break into the setup without a bios password. The problem there is that you have no way to prove that you own the computer and thus this site is probably not going to help you crack your way in.

however dell has a resource page for just such an emergency..

edit: I see that the bypass option was already posted, too slow, did not intend to double post..
