This will tell you where the usage space is
https://www.jam-software.de/custome...
It is a right click on c: after installed. Select treesize. It will show you the folders and size on disk.

What antivirus are you running?

this could be shadow storage used in windows 7 and windows vista.
try the following:
go to start in the search box type in cmd and right click it, then run as admin
when the cmd window opens up type the following:
vssadmin delete shadows /for=c:
then hit enter, and answer Y
close cmd then check if it solved it

Also know that your system restore periodically saves additional restore points. I does this once a week and whenever you install a program or update or uninstall a program. This is set by default to a maximum or 12% of your drive capacity typically but if you need to you can reduce it to 10% or 8%, but I would not recommend reducing it below that. Reducing the maximum space your system restore can use will just reduce the number of restore points it can save so it may delete some of the older restore points. This can be useful as a temporary measure if your drive is getting near full, but the real solution if this is the case is to just add another hard drive (desktop) or use a portable hard drive to off load files you want to keep but are not needed immediately.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
