Looks like it might be easier to find a four leafed clover.

Why does it need to be the 4x3 aspect? (I think that is what you want)

No manufacturer now produces a 4:3 screen - the last ones,
Lenovo & Dell, stopped a couple of years ago. It's something
to do with the manufacturing process that makes it cheaper to
produce a widescreen, at essentially a lower resolution. I
work with documents a lot, and I just don't find any benefit of
having widescreen. Even rotating the display, which I thought
may work, doesn't as it either stretches it or you get bigger
black bands.

It's a bit like 3D - they are trying to force it on us when we
don't want it, in it's present form at least...

Might have to look at off lease, refurbished, or second hand models.
