HP Photosmart C6280; reset message halt in ink system

Hewlett-packard / Photosmart c6280
February 19, 2014 at 11:09:42
Specs: Windows 7
Printer fails to start displaying error like "Halt in ink pump" and "Paper jam: clear feeder and press OK" (despite no paper jammed at all).
Several attempts neccessary to start printer (pressing OK and Power off+on) - when restarting printer performs several ink cleaning cycles accompanied by loud clicking noise as if printer parts breaking inside.

To fix problem:
Manual clear/reset of printer hardware failure status performed. After this procedure carried out printer starts normally without any error messages displayed and without clicking noise.

To manually clear/reset printer hardware failure status:

Additional experiences obtained
After described manual reset of error messages, printer could be powered on normally a number of times, but then again reverted to same error messages behaviour - and again impossible to start up.

Error messages displayed repeatedly at start up appearing in this order (in Danish)
Vognstop - Åbn dækslet og afhjælp papirstop.
Fejl - Motorstop i pumpe.
Blæksystemfejl - Fejl i blæksystemet. Kan ikke udskrive. Se printerdokumentation. Fejl 0xc05d0082. Sluk og tænd for strømmen.

My conclusions
Manual reset procedure just removes display of error messages (or clears printer internal error log) - but root causes for errors still exist and will eventually prevent normal start up at power on.

Plausible root cause and final solution
Printer (parts) worn down; printer replaced with a new one.
