Specs: Windows 7, AMD A6-3400M Quad-core 1.4 GHz / 6 GB RAM
How can you set the monitor on an HP Pavilion dv7 to automatically adjust the aspect ratio so that 640x480 and 800x600 are not streched horizontally in full screen mode in MS VPC 2007 SP1?

Why are you attempting to use those resolutions in the 1st place? The native resolution for your screen is either 1600 x 900 or 1440 x 900 depending on the model (DV7 is incomplete model number). If you need the text or icons to be bigger, there are adjustments that can be made. Keep the screen at it's native setting.

The native resolution is 1600x900, which is not supported by VPC 2007 SP1. The host supports 800x600 and 640x480, but stretches them to fill the screen. Windows 3.11 does not support wide screen resolutions.
