HP Pavilion 3100 Max HDD

Dell / DIMENSION 2400

Specs: Microsoft Windows XP Professional, 2.392 GHz / 510 MB
I have an HP Pavilion that I want to use as a web server. I want to also upgrade it to Windows 98SE. It has a 2.1 GB Hard Drive in it. I have two questions:

1) Can I put a 10 GB HDD in this computer? If not, how big of a HDD can I put into it? (I have a 10 GB, 4 GB, 3.1 GB)

2) Will Windows 98SE run on this computer? It's RAM is maxed out (I believe)

Thanks!

It looks to be a Pentium 166MHz MMX CPU with 64MB RAM? HDD data transfer rate probably maxes out at 33MB/sec. As for the HDD size, you *should* be able to use the 10GB.

Looks like the board has a single ISA slot & that's it?

Thanks! I looked everywhere, even on the HP website and couldn't find anything about it.

No. It has two ISA slots and one PCI slot. I am putting an Ethernet card into the PCI slot. A modem came with the computer and that was plugged into an ISA slot.
