HP monitor with no stickers?

I just bought an HP 2511x monitor and I noticed it does not have the stickers across the top like you see in stores and in this YouTube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yodi...
When I realized this I became a little apprehensive. How do I know if the monitor was a return to HP and then repurchased by the store where I bought it? Or maybe HP is not putting stickers across the top frame of the monitor any more? Every thing in the box looked OK and the monitor frame itself was protected by that clear sticky film stuff. It doesn't appear that there were stickers across the top; maybe the factory honestly forgot to put them on?! When I opened the box, the VGA cable was out of its styrofoam slot, which could have come loose in transit. Also, the inner receptacle of the base has on some straches on it, which you don't see when the base is assembled. I figured this could have been done by the factory also when testing if the base fit together right. Should I be concerned about these things? The main thing that concerns me is the missing stickers. Thanks.

The factory wouldn't have checked the base fitted - they just pack them & send them out so I'd be more concerned with the scratches. If it was sold as brand new then I would definitely query it - first thing I do when I get a monitor is remove the stickers....
