Specs: Windows XP
My laptop screen is too dim to see, but is working, so I know the ribbon connector works. I replaced the inverter and the screen worked for two days then quit.I don't know if something caused the inverter to burn out or get too weak to light up the screen.I sent the screen in to have the backlight replaced and they said nothing is wrong with my display ... they put it in another machine and ran it four hours...any ideas?

Thanks!! That's what I thought too, but just wondered if there could be something wrong that caused the brand new inverter to burn out?
