Specs: windows 7 64, 2.60GHZ/8GB RAM
I have an HP 6127 that I want to use with windows 7. I found the following HP webpage (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01796821&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&os=4062&product=86858&sw_lang=#N867) that says I can use the Desktop 990c driver. I downloaded and installed and configured the driver, but when I print something the pages come out but are blank. Even a test pages comes out blank. Is it possible the my catridges are so empty, that nothing prints. I assume that with the real driver, i would get a warning saying the ink is out and the report won't print, but maybe the alternate driver is not that smart.

HP have a download page here:

If the problem happens to be due to #1 or #2 then clearly this won't help.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

When was the last time you printed anything with that printer? The nozzles can dry up in a week or less. Try running the head cleaning option.

The print head might be blocked - sometimes needing replacement. If you installed a driver to fix this issue then it was probably not the best move, as it could add another fault if it didn't go in properly or is incorrect. It is unusual for drivers (software) to suddenly "go wrong" but printers (mechanical) are much more inclined to.

Thanks Derek,

I thought I had the installation CD somewhere but I can't find it anywhere. Do you know if printer software can be downloaded online from the vendor?
