I bought an HP d330 on Ebay. It gave me a keyboard error 301 and 162 error on startup. Tried two keyboards. I changed the motherboard. The second motherboard is doing exactly the same thing. I tried three known good keyboards. Is this bad luck, or maybe some jumper on the motherboard?
