Specs: Windows Vista
I was using a flight sim on my HP about a week ago and everything just kicked off and shut down. I waited a few minutes and rebooted and it came back on for a short while, then went down again. Now when I press the power button, I hear the fans going but the on/off button light does not go on. As I said the fans are running but I can't hear anything else working internally. Even the small indicator light near the on/of button that usually flashes when the unit is powering up, doesn't do a thing. The power supply indicator light on the back of the tower is on. So I am not sure if this could be a power supply issue or not. This happened about a week ago. I left it unplugged for a few days and tried yesterday and it started up with lights and everything. I was able to use it for abaout an hour and then once again it kicked off and has gone back to the original problem.

Popped in a new Power supply and still nothing. Can't even turn the thing off now. I hold down the start button and instead of it shutting down, the fans go into high speed. If anyone has an idea where to go next, I would appreciate some direction.
