Hi,

I have problems with my Deskjet 3050.

The power light is flashing green and the display says "printing" with a progress bar that loops for ever without ever printing anything. This happens with or without paper in the feed tray or print jobs queued up.

I have done the following:

Disconnected/reconnected printer cable - using a USB cable
Reinstalled drivers
Replaced ink
Powered off and on - when I do this I'm prompted to add paper and press "ok" and then I get the "printing" and progress bar
Checked for paper jams and blockages - all clear
Holding down the "cancel" button for 10+ seconds makes no difference
Checked for errors in control panel - all clear
Changed default printer from 3050 to another and back again - no change
hooked up a 2nd laptop to the printer and no change.

This issue happens even if the printer is disconnected to any PC

I cannot get past the "printing" message on the display so I cannot get a printer report.

Any suggestions on what I can do next?

Thanks in advance!
