What do you mean by reset? And please confirm you are talking about a HP Deskjet 1050 printer.

I have a HP Deskjet 1050 that still the moment worked very well.
Now, without any modification, every time I connect the printer it starts printing a sheet to start the alignment. every time I connect the printer it starts printing a sheet to start the alignment. Perform this alignment and it comes back again to do the same after disconnecting and reconnecting.
Resetting the printer would result in the eprom of the machine back to its original condition HP.

I wouldn't worry about the EPROM in the machine. Unless you yourself have done something, it is in the same condition as the day it was made. EPROMs dont just change their contents for no good reason.

Normally to force an alignment you turn the machine on with one or more buttons pressed. Check you manual to see which button(s) this applies to and then check they are not stuck in the pressed position.

For the alignment simply run the HP software for this purpose.
It prints an alignment sheet which is then placed on the scanner and then you press the scan button color.
Otherwise, as soon as you put a new cartridge, the printer automatically starts printing the sheet above.
The problem that arises is that each time you connect the machine automatically starts printing of this sheet.
I've done the uninstall "clean" and then a new installation but the problem continues, hence conclude that there is no bug in the software but in the printer itself.
I've had several HP printers (other models) and Epson in which to resolve most problems that appear, the easiest was to do is a reset of the machine.
As this is a relatively new model have not found on the net the system reset to 1050.
Thanks
