How to reset BIOS on MSI MS-6511

Specs: Linux/Ubuntu, AMD sempron 2400+/256Mb PC133 168 pin
built a comp using this mobo, wont display anything, need to reset BIOS to fix, i hope!

There are no obvious markings depicting CMOS reset, i can't see any buttons like there normally are.

Please please please help! this is the second replacement motherboard I've bought!

I don't think reset cmos will help but here is how to reset,
-unplug the power cable
-open the side panel of pc case
-locate cmos battery(it looks like small silver coin) on the motherboard.
-remove it for a few seconds then you are done.
If u can't see markings download motherboard manual from MSI website.

I hope you're not paying much for these boards because they are extremely old. Are you sure it even supports the Sempron? Maybe the problem isn't the board at all?

I only paid around a tenner for the board, I've reset the BIOS now, and youre right, it didn't help, it was a last chance.

Does that board support the Sempron CPU? Based on the age of the board & the chipset (VIA KM133), I don't think the Sempron will work. More than likely, you need an older 200MHz FSB Athlon (NOT an Athlon XP) or a Duron. You may have even fried the Sempron by trying it in that board.
