Test your PC on another monitor (you didn't specifiy what type of computer you have - PC or laptop). If other monitor looks ok, there's an issue with your monitor. If the problem still occurs on another monitor, it's a video adapter issue or cable connections to that adapter in your computer.

My computer is a Laptop, Compaq Perario CQ40, been trying to find out from HP how to fix it, but cant get through, still jumping, I am sure it it the hinges on the lid of the laptop, also i am using a USB mouse, not the laptop mouse, would that cause the problem????? or if u know some site i can get help???

I think i somehow fixed it, for some reason i had to log off, off first, then shut down, today the jumping is very occassional, i'll just cross fingers.......

Ok, also I think it could be the battery, I keep the AC power on it all the time, the other week when this started, it was 41 degrees, I had 2 fans blowing on it and the back and underneath was extremely HOT. so I'm thinking that could have something to do with it, I'll try everything b4 I go to the Technician and let him figure it out. It's not jumping now, its been really good lately.....(touch wood). thanks for your reply and interest.
