how to rename drive C: with D: on dos

Specs: Windows XP, 2100
haw to inverse drive C: with D: in dos?
i think i have a virus and it inverse the drivers C with D, it hapened when i restarted the PC, and now the windows apear to be instaled on D:\windows not like usual in C:\windows

XP doesn't use DOS. The only way Windows could be on the D: drive would be if you or someone else installed it on the D: drive.

Read http://support.microsoft.com/kb/223188 be careful, use only if the OS was installed on C: and some how it was changed to D:.

Windows only thinks C drive is that name because it is the first bootable hard drive in the bios sequence. Can the sequence.
