how to remove a bios password

Specs: Windows 7
my ex girlfriend put a password on my computer so now I can get into the bios to have the disk drive load before the hard drive this is on a laptop any ideas on how I can remedy this problem

Your best hope is to get the password from your ex. Let's hope you parted on good terms.

Failing that you could try contacting the manufacturer, with proof of purchase. If this is a desktop rather than a laptop (which I'm assuming) then there may be other possibilities - for very obvious reasons we can't discuss those on an open forum.

I guess an ex girlfriend could have done a lot worse than put a bios password on your computer. Maybe she has her own computer that you could do the same to? Then when she tells you the password she put on yours you do the same.
