Press and hold the stater button for five seconds. That that should turn the machine off ad you can re-boot as normal.

If that fails, remove the power cord and battery and wait for a few seconds.. Replace the battery and power cord and re-boot.

Did it go blank immediately when you pluged in the cable or did you notice it later while it was still charging?

Further to #1. Also press the power button for about 15 seconds while the power cord and battery are removed.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

If you shut the laptop down (by any means you can). What exactly happens when you try to power it on again?

Do you ever see "anything" on the screen?

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
