Solved How to open a pdf on Display #2?

Dell / Inspiron 17r

Specs: Windows 10, 2.3/8
I am trying to open a pdf on an external monitor (display #2). I can open a word.doc on my laptop (display #1) and move it to display #2 without any problem. I downloaded a pdf which I can open on display #1; however, after opening it, I could not move it to display #2. When I moved the pdf icon to display #2, it opened on display #1.

I tried different display settings but they did not help.

Thank you.

Sounds like a problem with your PDF viewer. Try a different one.

How is the second display set perform; is it an extension of the desktop or duplicate display of the main screen?

I seem to recall that windowze allow either option. being on Mac system I can't explore/confirm that further.

If you want to try another PDF Viewer I use this freebie and have found it fine. It has no annoying intrusions:

Despite it no longer being supported it still gets updates about every six months. I've never risked its replacement (the Editor) as I prefer to leave well alone.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Well, Win10 already comes with the best PDF viewer for Win10, at least until Microsoft gets done killing it. It's Edge, the browser no one uses, but I do. As a PDF viewer.

Yep, I tried Edge as a pdf viewer but preferred my old freebie and went back to it. Can't remember why now.

Just so I know which PDF viewer to not recommend, what was the one you used originally?
