Specs: Windows Vista 64 bit, 4gb
I kept getting blue screen and reinstalling and then I updated the bios and then future shop said ther was nothing wrong they i go a 4 bit screen and the next time i got 4 bit scrren when i hooked up my video camera. It would help to tell us that you have a laptop. It would also help to know the make/model. The problem with the display is a driver issue. Try installing this:

And being that your laptop is almost 3 yrs old, who knows what type of garbage software you may have installed. Do you regularly run a cleaner? Registry scan? Virus & malware scan? Defrag the hard drive? Use MSCONFIG to keep useless startup apps under control? In other words, general system maintenance?
