Solved How to make sure a refurbished monitor is not faulty?

Specs: Windows 10, CPU: Intel Core i5-4590, Ram: 16 GB
Someone is offering me a refurbished 1080p 60 Hz HP monitor (I don't know model) that has an IPS Pannel, But how can I first make sure it is not faulty and won't show problems later in future.

There is no way that you can guarantee that a refurbished monitor won't give problems in the future, any more than you can do so for a brand new monitor. But, as long as you are buying from a reputable company, it should be as good as a new one, if not better (after all, it's had additional testing).

The monitor should come with a warranty for the same lifetime as a new one - if not, find another supplier.
