It is contrary to Apple's license agreement to install any Mac OS on non Apple hardware.

Apple hardware like what?
All major components comes from INTEL(processor & chipset), other components comes different manufactures(the same manufactures that deal with DELL, HP, ACER and other OEM).

Apple desktop or laptop OS can be installed on other non-Apple machines but the problem is going to be the drivers.

By Apple hardware I mean Apple-branded. Who actually manufactured the hardware is irrelevant.

Quote from the Apple OSX 10.6 (Mac OS X Snow Leopard) license agreement:

"You agree not to install, use or run the Apple Software on any non-Apple-branded computer, or to enable others to do so."

Apple license agreements can be found here:

I understand it's extremely difficult to install the mac os on a pc. I'm pretty sure, like Kuwese says, it's really hard to get the proper drivers and I'm pretty sure you need specific hardware. I guess if you want a mac, you should buy one.
