how to increase graphics memory from ram

Specs: Windows 7, 4 gb
my motherboard supports 512 onboard graphics....how can i utilize it fully?

If you have 4 Gb of RAM total, go into the BIOS and allocate the
full 512 Mb of RAM for the graphics adapter.

Then your system will be left with 3.4 Gb of RAM to use for the
OS.

You can allocate less RAM for the Video as well, like 256 Mb or
384 Mb if desired also, which will you give your OS more RAM to
use.

If you mean that the onboard graphics isn't using 512mb then I believe you need to enter BIOS setup and make the change in there to set the onboard graphics to use 512mb.

Do you think having 512MB allocated to your integrated graphics is going to improve performance? If you want better performance, install a *real* video card & let the OS use 100% of the system RAM..
