The beeping is a code. There should be some sort of pattern. Have you made any hardware changes? We'll need to know the make/model of your computer or the BIOS type to be able to direct to the proper code list. However, you may be able to find it here: https://www.computerhope.com/beep.htm

Is this a single continuous tone or a continuous series beeps in rapid succession?

A continuous beep is often an indication of bad RAM.

You say there is no display either...

Can you check the monitor - perhaps using another computer. Also try another monitor cable too?

Things to try..

Power down fully and remove power cord. Open case and reseat the display card; actually remove it fully, clean its edge contacts with a soft pencil style eraser. Wipe the edge connectors with a lint free cloth (even a tissue); re-insert and remove card a couple of times - firmly.

Do the same cleaning process with RAM sticks...

Then restore power and see it problem persists - or not..?

"monitor does not show anything so"
Have you tried/borrowed another monitor?

Some feedback from the OP would be useful here - - - otherwise getting nowhere fast.

No point anyone else chipping in until the OP responds.

"the writer simply phades away"
It's because our advice is so bad that when they try it their computer immediately catches fire and burns the house down.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
