how to i partition my dynemic harddisk?

Specs: Windows XP, 1 GB
my harddisk is converted into dynemic disk. it is not return to basic disk. but i want to partition my harddisk so how i partition my dynemic harddisk. please help me!!!!!!!!!

If this is just a storage disk and your not trying to install windows on it or anything. Then you would go into your Disk Management.

Select the dynamic partition, right click on it and select shrink volume.

You can shrink the partition that you have to what every size you want your primary partition to be. Then create a new partition with the unallocated space that you are left with.

I think easeus can do it.

Some say testdisk can.

The official MS way is to backup then install then apply restore.

with minitool partition wizard,. managing your partition easily, no matter basic disk or dynamic disk. :)
