If using an add-on graphics card, try re-seating it (remove and firmly put it back - - with the power off of course - - take precautions against ESD damage when handling the card.

If you have a desktop/tower system; ensure you remove the power cord - rather than simply switching the computer off.

With modern desktop/tower systems if the power cord is still pugged into the mains socket and that is live) and also still connected to the desktop/tower, there will be volts running around inside - even f you have switched the system of via the on/off switch/button. So ensure you remove mains power cord completely from such systems before going inside...

With laptops... remove the power adapter connection "and" the battery.

If it's a PC (rather than a laptop) then the mere fact that the monitor shows "no signal" is a very good indication that the monitor itself is OK.. It could still be down to its cable or connectors though but mostly it is a computer fault.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
