Hi WIllem,

for such queries you should provide, the Device's
Make and *FULL* Model Number.
Also the Device Type. eg Laptop, Tablet or ?

If it has a cd/dvd drive, I would first try using a bootable cd/dvd.
This should have any drivers that it requires already included.

Good Luck - Keep us posted

I am sorry that I provided insufficient details of my equipment. I thought it was mentioned in my specifications. However, when I ran my bootable win10 repair disk, I got in, but without a mouse and keyboard I could not key in an answer with my keyboard, nor could I point to an answer with a mouse.

So I concluded that I better re-install the whole lot, which I did. I also now think there is no solution to my PREVIOUS situation.

I would like to thank you all.

Hi WIllem,

if this is a Desktop, is it possible the K/b and Mouse have been plugged into each other's Socket?

Good Luck - Keep us posted.

No I have a "modern" motherboard that has one socket, which can be used by either the old entry for keyboard or/NOT and a mouse. The USB sockets also didn't function. But anyway I reinstalled and now things are OK.

Thanks
