the heat sink holders is not held down by screws, but some kind of prongs, how do I releases them to get it off the tray? Ken

Most motherboards are held in place either by screws, or, plastic supports. The plastic supports can be "squeezed" to release the board. The same may apply to your CPU heat sink supports.

Motherboards don't need to be replaced by professionals, as long as you know what you're doing and take your time. If you download the manuals and follow the instructions, and follow them, you should be fine.
