There is no light on the bottom. The right and left buttons are working and the DPI change. The mouse does work if i put light under it such as putting it on my monitor etc. How do i fix this?

Make sure you are using the mouse on a nonreflective surface.

Do you have all of the latest drivers downloaded for the mouse?

Return it.

Sounds like the LED has gone out. If you have the ability to dissemble the mouse in such a way it could be put back together, soldering / desoldering equipment, and the ability to procure a compatible LED, it's fairly straight forward to replace it. You probably don't, so if it's still under warranty, follow riider's advice and return it.
