People have been working on DVD copy protection since they were introduced. Many methods have been tried but none are completely satisfactory. The methods used by commercial DVDs require special and expensive hardware, and they aren't completely effective either. There are some methods you can use that make copying more difficult but they won't stop a knowledgeable user. Having never used such methods I can't make any recommendations.
