The password is case sensitive even for a printer. Make sure that you are using caps when needed.

What type encryption are you using ? WEP? WPA? WPA2

I've noticed a significant number of modern devices seem to have difficulty with WEP even though they are supposed to be compliant with that older less-secure protocol.

Thank You Richard59 for your reply. I am using WPA 2. When I go into setup wizard
the next line after SSID when my password fails to connect is SES/WPS/AOSS when I hit that it says searching and says ENTER PIN:xxxxxxxxxxxxxx (it gives me a number) at wireless entry point but then says NO ENTRY POINT FOUND.??????? I am so confused and have never had such a hard time. I switched ISP carriers and at first my laptop would not connect with my password but then tech support entered a key into the router and it worked. When I go through my network connection the key is still there. Please, Any further suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You ,
Bill C.

Enter the key that you find in the router interface instead.

same issue here (i think). my printer all of a sudden reads that it is behind a firewall. i reset my router (linksys) and it worked for a little less then a week, and now has the same issue again. i tried my other router to see if that is where the problem lies, but to no avail. my printer reads that it is connected to the system properly, but it remains off line until i psychically connect it to my computer. is this my wireless card that is shot? i tried all the steps that brothers had on line, but it still wont work. i can assure you that there is no firewall blocking it.
