Specs: Windows 10
It has happened before and it has happened again today. An e-mail reply to info@computing,net has always been bouncing. Has the e-mail ID been changed? Or is something perhaps incompatible with my service-provider? Can u help? I wld like to keep in touch but I can't.

Keep in touch with who? If you don't want to receive emails alerting you that you got a PM or response to your post, adjust the settings on your My Home page.

I'm not sure I follow. U ask "keep in touch with who". i had got an e-mail asking me whether an earlier problem I had posted on the website, was finally solved. I presume this came from some kind of co-ordinating office, tho' now in the light of yr query I'm not so sure. Whatever, I thought it was incumbent on me to thank whoever it was for the concern expressed, and I did so. The e-mail also asked whether i had the expertise to help others, and I regretfully said I did not. The e-mail came from inf@compuiting .net, but my repy to that addres bounced. So what gives. Is it a fully automated system providing just a platform to connect people? Or is theer a person originating the kind of e-mail I hv described? Would greatly appreciate a clarification.

Hello K.GopalRao,

Those are automated e-mails from the system, not sent by any specific user. That is why replies to the address don't work. It is reminders about posts you've made or your activity on the site.

If you would like to disable the e-mails, click on "My Home" in the upper right corner of the site, then click "Settings," then uncheck the box that says, "E-mail me about my postings and replies." and hit Set/Change.

Thank you!
Justin
