Most BIOS' don't have an option to format a hard drive. When you want to install Windows 7, make sure the DVD drive is the first boot device in the BIOS. You can delete any partitions on the hard drive and format it once Windows 7 setup is running.

Hi idisjunction,
Thanks for your response, yes i'm making the CD/DVD drive as a first boot device in BIOS. There is also an other option to select the boot device (using the key F12), there also I'm selecting to boot from CD. But still it is going to the Memtest86.

Even I waited for the complete scan of the Memtest86. it is again and again starting to scan.
Please let me know if you have any clue, how to solve this.

Thanks
Nivash

On some systems you need to look for "hit any key to boot from CD/DVD" and tap a key. If you do not see the message, try tapping the Enter or other key anyway at boot up.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

Hi Fingers,

yeah that is very true, but still not helping me.
Even after selecting to boot from CD and hitting the ENTER key it is still going to the Memtest86.
Any other idea please.

Thanks
Nivash
