how to choose which sata drive to boot from win xp

Specs: Windows xp pro
i have 2 sata hds with winxp pro on both installed in a dell 4700 dimension on sata0 and sata2 on bootup i want to choose which drive to boot from. how?

You need to install a boot manager.

If you press F8 or on Dell computer F12 as soon as Dell Logo appears and before the OS as started to boot you should get a list of bootable devices that you can chose which to boot from. Other than that it will just boot from the first one it finds in the boot BIOS boot order.

will the boot manager let me choose a hard drive that isn't in the bootable disk list in bios? bios seems to only recognize sata0, usb or cd drive, ide hard drive, floppy drive.
