Let's see --- if there's a display on your monitor, then you have a working VGA, is that what you mean?

Or did you mean a separate VGA port on the motherboard? If you are using an add-on video card, you are probably using the DVI port on that (or a VGA port if both are on the card). However, most motherboards have their own dedicated VGA port, which sometimes are hidden behind a little plastic cover. Let us know what you're looking for.
